China and GFSI renew HACCP recognition agreement

On October 17, the Certification and Accreditation Commission of China-CNCA and the global food safety initiative (GFSI) signed a memorandum of cooperation on the 2019 global food safety initiative China theme day. GFSI will continue to recognize the HACCP (hazard analysis and key control points) certification of China. This means that more than 11000 HACCP certified food manufacturers in China can continue to enjoy trade convenience when entering supply chain of the GFSI member. GFSI officially recognized China’s HACCP certification system on November 2, 2015. China has issued 120000 certification certificates of thousands of enterprises.
