On August 11, the “China cyber security report 2019” was officially released. The report summarizes the dissemination and activities of computer malicious programs, mobile Internet malicious program dissemination and activities, website security monitoring, DDoS attack monitoring, security vulnerability early warning and disposal, and network security incident receiving and handling in 2019.
- More than 62 million computer malware samples were captured, and the average daily transmission times reached 8.24 million times, 53.5% of them came from the United States.
- About 67.62 million IP addresses attacked by computer malware in China, accounting for 18.3% of the total number of IP addresses, mainly concentrated in Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces.
- The number of hosts infected with computer malware in China was 5.8188 million, down 11.3% year on year. About 56000 computer malware control servers located abroad affected about 5.52 million hosts in China. The number of control servers in the United States, Japan and Hong Kong ranked the top three.
- More than 2.79 million mobile Internet malware samples were added, with a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%, which was the first incremental decrease in the past five years. The top three malicious programs were still rogue behavior, tariff consumption and information theft, accounting for 36.1%, 33.2% and 11.6% respectively.
