China integrated circuits standardization kicks off

The SMIC and 90 top manufacturers such as Huawei have joined forces to establish the national Integrated Circuit Standards Committee, also known as the Chip Standards Committee. Foreign designed or produced chips entering the Chinese market must comply with Chinese standards in the future.
