27 June, Ministry of Commerce and State Post Bureau issued Guidelines on Standardizing Data Interconnection and Sharing between Express and Electronic Commerce. E-commerce operators and express delivery enterprises take the same obligations on data interconnection and sharing management. E-commerce operators and enterprises operating express business shall not use the users’ information for purposes unrelated to the delivery service. Value-added applications of big data with users’ information shall obtain the consent of users and shall not provide data with personal privacy characteristics to other units and individuals. E-commerce operators and express delivery enterprises shall not maliciously interrupt data transmission
