Economic and trade cooperation agreement with EEU

On October 25, China and the Eurasian Economic Union signed an agreement on economic and trade cooperation, which came into force on October 25. It is the first important institutional agreement on economy and trade between China and Eurasian Economic Union. The agreement covers 13 chapters, including customs cooperation and trade facilitation, intellectual property, sectoral cooperation and government procurement, and includes new topics such as e-commerce and competition.
