Measures for Port Charge and Accounting 2019

On March 18, the Ministry of Transport and the National Development and Reform Commission recently issued a circular on the revision and issuance of the Measures for Port Charge and Accounting to reduce some price and charge, consolidate charging items and standardize charging behavior. The notification requires that the fee rates for cargo port charges, port facility security charges, pilotage (mooring) charges and tugboat charges for domestic shipping routes be reduced by 15%, 20%, 10% and 5%, respectively.
