In 2020, the State Grid will construct 78000 new energy vehicle charging piles. Those charging piles will be distributed in 18 provinces including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Hunan and Qinghai, with public, special, community and port shore power. At present, State Grid Corporation has built up 11600 charging and replacing power stations, 95800 charging piles and 3.378 million KVA connecting capacity. With a total investment of 25.1 billion yuan, State Grid has built the world’s largest intelligent vehicle networking platform, with 457000 charging piles connected, covering more than 85% of the country’s public charging piles.
