On July 5, the National Medical Products Administration issued the Measures for the Administration of Drug Standards, which will come into force on January 1, 2024. Chinese drug standards will include “National Standards”, ” Registration Standards”, and “Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Standards”. The method clarifies the common standard requirements for traditional Chinese medicine, chemical raw materials, medical institution preparations, pharmaceutical excipients, and drug packaging materials, and sets special standards based on their respective characteristics and laws
