On 9th August, -Cyberspace Administration of China-CAC issued notice on Security Assessment for Regulations of Block Chain Information Service. Article 9 of the Regulations on the Management of Block Chain Information Services promulgated by CAC clearly states that “new products, applications and functions online developed by Block Chain Information Service Provider, shall be reported to CAC, or bureaus of Province, Autonomous Region and Municipality for security assessment”.
