Cancellation of Labels Registration of Imported Pre-packaged Food

On 25th April, the General Administration of Customs issued an announcement (No. 70, 2019) on the inspection and supervision of import and export pre-packaged food labels. Since 1October, 2019, the registration of pre-packaged food labels of first-time import shall be cancelled. Import pre-packaged food labels, as one of the food inspection items, are inspected by the Customs in accordance with the relevant laws and administrative regulations on food safety and inspection of import and export commodities.
