17 May, SAMR promulgated the measures for the management of imported medicinal materials which shall come into effect on January 1, 2020. The original trial Measures were abolished at the same time. There are 7 chapters and 35 articles in the new Measures which stated Classified management of first-time and non-first-time imported medicinal materials. The restriction that “the border port can only import medicinal materials produced by countries or regions around ” has been abolished.
