Eco-Design products standards-MIIT, August.2019
By August, the department of energy conservation and comprehensive application of MIIT released the latest updated eco-design products standards list covering 9 industries and 91 standards. In order to meet the requirements of the “Green Manufacturing System Construction 2016-2020” and facilitate eco-design product assessment, MIIT has issued “notice on green manufacturing system construction” and “guideline on green manufacturing standardization” in 2016. As a crucial part of green manufacturing strategy, the list is expected to cover over 1.000 products by 2020
- Except 5 national recommended standards on eco-design, the other 86 are developed by social associations which have been issued and published on national social association standards platform
- Till now the industrial products involved: Electronics -6; Textile -10; Steel -5; Machinery -18; Building Materials -5; Light Industry -22; Petrochemical -9; Telecommunications -9; Nonferrous metal -4. And also, General Principle -1; Identification -1; Intelligent toilet -1
