Among the cross-regional enterprises, there are 3 986 in Beijing, 2 782 in Guangdong and 1 465 in Shanghai. 58.3% of the cross-regional enterprises are concentrated in the three places. Among the local enterprises, there are 10529 in Beijing, 6137 in Guangdong and 5696 in Zhejiang.

64734 value-added telecommunications enterprises have a total of 78746 licensed projects. Among them, 38 910 information services (Internet information services only), 14 132 information services (excluding Internet information services), 7973 online data processing and transaction processing services, 7847 domestic call center services, 4744 Internet access services (hereinafter referred to as ISP), 2385 Internet data center services, and 2755 other services.

Cross-regional Enterprises

  • Business: 8326 enterprises operate mobile information service business, 5409 enterprises operate domestic call center business, 2646 enterprises operate Internet access service business.
  • Capital: The scale of registered capital varies greatly, and most of them are managers with registered capital of 10 million yuan. Operators with registered capital of 10 million yuan account for 66.5% of the total number of operators, operators with registered capital of 10 million yuan to 50 million yuan account for 18.8% of the total number of operators, operators with registered capital of 50 million yuan (including) to 100 million yuan account for 80% of the total number of operators, and large enterprises with registered capital of more than 100 million yuan account for 63% of the total number of operators.
  • Status: 454 state-owned holding enterprises, accounting for 3.2% of the total number of operators; 13 581 private holding enterprises, accounting for 96.1% of the total number of operators; 94 foreign-funded enterprises, accounting for 0.7% of the total number of operators.
